In today’s world, we’re more connected than ever – through social media, dating apps, wearable devices, and smart technology. Yet, despite all this access, many of us feel a profound sense of disconnection. This disconnect is exactly why we’re planting Activate Church – to help people flip the switch.
We believe every person is intentionally designed by God with unique gifts, talents, and a purpose. But we can’t truly walk in that purpose without a strong connection to Him. Our mission is to help people Get Connected and Stay Activated like never before – living fully in the gifts, talents, and purpose God has placed within them.
A – Authenticity
We are real, transparent, and unafraid to show our imperfections. We foster a culture where people can be their true selves and experience the transformative love of Christ.
C – Christ-Centered
Jesus is the foundation of everything we do. Our worship, teaching, and community life are all rooted in a deep devotion to Him.
T – Truth
We stand firm on God’s Word as our ultimate authority. We boldly speak and live in truth, even when it challenges cultural norms.
I – Intentionality
We do everything with purpose, excellence, and a clear vision. Every action, interaction, and initiative is designed to glorify God and activate faith.
V – Victory
We live from a place of victory in Christ, not striving for it. No matter the obstacles, we walk in faith, knowing Jesus has already overcome.
A – Action
Faith is more than belief—it requires movement. We activate our faith through service, generosity, and love in action, making a real impact in our world.
T – Transformation
God changes lives from the inside out. We create spaces where people can encounter His power, experience renewal, and step into their divine purpose.
E – Empowerment
We equip and release people to live out their calling. Through discipleship and encouragement, we help individuals activate their gifts and walk boldly in their faith.
Meet The Pastors.
Stephon and Christina Chaney were ordained in September 2019 by Pastors Touré and Sarah Jakes Roberts of One, A Potter’s House Church in Los Angeles. They married in April of 2015 and are the proud parents of three sons: Luke, Ezra, and Micah.
With over a decade of ministry experience, the Chaneys are dedicated to sharing the gospel in a way that is both biblically sound and authentically expressed. Their mission is to create a Holy Spirit-led, loving church environment that leads people to true peace and fulfillment in Christ.
